I’ve found the greatest hook up EVER! Well, I guess it isn’t exactly a hook up, but the price is so good it feels like one! Okay, okay…backing up.
I’m really hard on my heels. And, I constantly burn them to the ground running around the city of Atlanta from this to that and back again.
I hate the idea of tossing out an otherwise perfectly good pair of shoes just because they make a wicked clickety-clack sound when I walk on tile or wood floors because I’ve ruined the heel, so I did a little investigative work and found THIS:

Nuzzled right behind Urban Outfitters on the corner of Ponce + North Highland, this shoe repair outfit will replace both of the heels on your pretty pumps for a whopping $7! My shoes are like new now, and I’m not jingle-bell-rockin’ from my office to the break room every hour any longer!

Oh yeah girl, gotta get them heel taps repaired! I have to have ALL of mine done on the regular.
HOWEVER: $7 is the cheapest I have ever heard of! The best I have found is $10 – very glad to know about this!

another really good place to take shoes is Trio Shoe Service in Buckhead. They are kind of pricey, but I take all of my nicer shoes there to get them resoled and the heel taps replaced. They last a seriously long time. One pair I got repaired has lasted more than a year without having to be replaced, and I walk verrrry hard in my heels. And they are still in good shape. For my less expensive shoes I usually go to Heel Quik in Lenox, but I may have to check out this place. $7 ain’t no joke.
