James Beard award-winning chef, Hugh Acheson, of Five & Ten in Athens (love Five & Ten!!) brings his art to Midtown Atlanta toward the end of 2010.

A community restaurant focusing on southern food, Empire State South will be a meat and three restaurant with coffee shop, bar, bocce court and a selection of great Bourbons.

From oyster pie to collard greens and hominy grits, at Empire State South Acheson will craft traditional food with a contemporary sensibility. Sounds good to me!
The sign is up + I’m ready. Really, really excited!!
