I think the problem is your car was made for a 11.5 inch tall doll. You may need to upgrade.
How about these guys:

call them ahead of time and I’m sure Sandy will take care of you (or anyone there).
Good luck!

I found your blog recently and LOVE it!!! I’ve been in Atlanta about 4 years and have trusted all my vehicle TLC to Atlanta Car Care on Buford. Hwy. (right off I-85 near the intersection of N. Druid Hills Rd. and Buford). Hope this suggestion helps:-)

Ugh. I am speaking only pig-latin from now on.

Hey Lindsay,
If you drive an import I strongly suggest you take it QUANTUM MECHANICS in Decatur. I’m friends with the owner, Eric and he is not only trustworthy and honest- but they do a GREAT job!

Emily, that sounds amazing. Very Q+DD style. Who is she??

Pretty sure the main mechanic there is named Kerry. Anyway, the last time I took my car in for a front brake re-haul, they advised me to get an oil change and only charged me half for it. Their number is (404) 371-9912, Missy will probably answer the phone — she’s probably the most knowledgeable mechanic’s receptionist I’ve ever met.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, EVERYONE! I really appreciate it!!

I can give you a suggestion of who to avoid like going outside in a bikini in Canada right now, just because I have thought about using my blog to spite these people but I am too good morally.
Since I consider myself to know what I’m doing when it comes to a car, and a mechanic still tries to screw me over, I will not be too happy. I absolutely want to destroy everyone who thinks they can take advantage of a girl. I took my car to Buckhead Auto Center on Piedmont so I could walk to/from there easy and once they finally looked at my car, it was going to be “$1084 for replacing the front axles and wheel bearings.”
UM, NO. I ended up calling another shop and getting these morons down to $700. They then managed to screw up my idle when they shouldn’t have even touched the engine, but they of course couldn’t figure that out and told me it was “my aftermarket suspension parts.”
So, seriously, when you do find a place, call around to make sure you’re not getting screwed over. A place like this Buckhead Center can get all these good reviews and recommendations all over the place, but they might be having douchebag day when you take your car over.
