That’s why I’ll be heading to the VaHi Chili Pepper Festival this Saturday!
Here’s the Q+DD: The first annual Chili Pepper Festival in Virginia Highland will be held from 4 – 11 p.m. on Saturday, October 24.
The Original El Taco, DBA Barbecue and Mali Thai & Sushi Bar are the participating restaurants offering chili pepper-loaded foods…YUM.
BONUS: There will also be a chili pepper eating contest and live music from Delta Moon, My Friend Ian’s Band (I hear they’re GREAT), El Scorcho and Shark Fighter!
So, I’ll see y’all Saturday at the corner of North Highland and Amsterdam avenues in the heart of Virginia Highland. You can purchase tickets for $5 in advance at http://vahichilipepperfest.com or $10 at the gate.
So this weekend, if you can’t take the heat…stay out of the Highlands!
