Eyebrows up!

I am going to just openly admit that this post is for the express purpose of converting Lindsay to the Glee cult. If I happen to convert the rest of you, all the better.
YOU HAVE TO START WATCHING THIS SHOW. It’s amazing.
Here’s the Q+DD:

The show centers around an optimistic (and super hot) teacher, Will Schuester

Who decides to take over McKinley High’s suffering Glee Club and mentor the motley (yet extremely talented) group of which it’s comprised.
My favorite is Kurt

“They're going to throw fruit at us and I just had a facial.”
He’s a soprano and last week he joined the football team (and led the entire team in a mid-game choreographed dance to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies.” I think it was the single best moment in television history.)
My second favorite is Rachel

"I thought I made it very clear that anything from West Side Story goes to me."
She’s the resident diva who affixes a gold star next to her name every time she signs it (“It’s a metaphor and metaphors are important.”) and makes nightly YouTube videos of herself singing Les Miz songs…much to the delight of her high school tormentors.
I may or may not relate to her just a little bit because I may or may not have been a soloist in my own high school show choir…
(Oh, the hair. Thank you again, Ken.)
Moving on. Hot, Spanish-teaching Will faces challenges: marital problems with his high-strung wife (“Will, I’m on my feet four hours a day, three times a week here. Now I have to go home and cook dinner for myself?”) and other teachers vying for funding for their departments from the enterprising principal. Most notably, the malicious cheerleading coach Sue, hysterically played by Jane Lynch

“I'll often yell at homeless people: 'Hey, how is that homelessness working out for you? Try not being homeless for once.”
His only ally is the guidance counselor, Emma, who suffers from severe OCD and germaphobia…and an enormous crush on Will. Duh. Why wouldn’t she?

I’m begging…no, demanding that you watch this show. There have only been 3 episodes, it’s not too late. It’s cleverly written, it’s hilarious, it’s charming, it handles difficult subject matter with humor and panache and THEY BREAK OUT INTO SONG at least a few times an episode. Frankly, I don’t know what could make it better.
Listen, I don’t ask for much. Just go set your DVR. Right now. Do it.
xx, L
