Schwartzman has got to be the hippest guy in Hollywood now – friends with Wes Anderson (my second favorite Texan) and Owen Wilson, in some of my favorite movies: Funny People, Darjeeling Limited, Shopgirl and Rushmore, he has a new HBO series: Bored to Death and an up-and-coming record label, Young Baby Records. All of that, and the dude is 5’6. Rock on.
In the similar actor-turned-rocker vein, I strongly suggest checking out Pete Yorn & Scarlett Johnansson’s new single, Relator. It’s got a great sound and the video is really super: http://video.yahoo.com/watch/5737571/15028077

You should check out Corey Crowder’s music. He is a singer/songwriter with a southern flare. You can listen here http://www.myspace.com/coreycrowder
