I am the Anti-Denim

I am not big on jeans.  They are just too constricting for someone like me who tends to flail when speaking – which is almost constantly…  However, my bestie, Amy, has gotten me officially hooked on J Brand jeans

Frankly, I don’t wear them as much as I should, but I really do love them.  Here’s why:

Q+DD on why J Brand is the Greatest Jeans Company Known to Woman:

They use stretchy fabric.  (Seriously, that’s it.)  J Brand jeans are easy to move around in, feel like thick leggings to me and I think they are super flattering – even over my ghetto-behind.  (Hey, it’s Atlanta!)

Also, I was never really into the whole low-rise jean trend and each of my four pairs of J Brands are a bit high-waisted, which I think is a lot more complimentary to my body, anyway.  (Ladies: No one, except dirty boys, care to see your panties hanging out of the back of your jeans.)

J Brand just came out with an awesome jacket, too, which I have and love.  Although it is a serious fashion faux pas to wear denim-on-denim, I think it will look really cute in the fall with my beloved dress collection.

(P.S. Although, I get mine flown direct from Ams in L.A., you can find them at Bloomingdales and even Loehmann’s and T.J. Maxx in Atlanta for a nice discount.)

The jeans are nice. The heels are not. I’ve never found heels that could ruin feet to be fashionable; just painful to look at.

As far as the comments go about low rise pants, my sixteen year old daughter comes come laughing about girls that let themselves go that way.

And grats, btw, for hitting the top 10 in Urban Spoon Atlanta.
