I was in a wedding this weekend…in HOUSTON…in AUGUST. Two very serious things wrong with that sentence. (Although, I absolutely love and adore the handsome couple and thought it was one of the BWE’s – best weddings ever), the highlight was definitely the best man’s speech. It was i.n.c.r.e.d.i.b.l.e.
We THINK he meant to say “I can’t wait to see what lies ahead for y’all,” but about 15 Crown and gingers later, all we heard was…
“I can’t even be ready to see what’s coming toward us.”
And, he said it with such gusto and conviction… We were perplexed, but also enlightened – and we are still trying to figure out why.
People, please don’t drink and speak – unless it’s as awesome as that.
