Regarding technology, I am a little slow on the uptake. I still proudly own a VCR – and frequently use it to do my Windsor Pilates circa 2001. I have two iPods, but both of them are around first generation and were bought for me by people who couldn’t stand to look at me running with my Zack Morris-esque radio headphones any longer. Sometimes, I feel like this when my computer breaks:

However, I just learned what an iPhone can do and about the whole world of apps I didn’t even know EXISTED. Apparently, apps are quite appealing to me because, as I understand it, they are to your phone what new earrings and a funky bracelet are to your must-have black dress. And this girl loves to accessorize…
When I heard about the fart app, I was disappointed that I didn’t invent it. Well, I just heard about another app and I think it is the best idea since sliced bread (which ironically, it counts):
The Carb Tracker App

It was invented by a friend’s mom. How adorable is that?! Furthermore, how sad is it that a friend’s mommy knows more about technology than I do! Anyway, if I had an iPhone, I think I would seriously consider this app. It might make me want to cry from time to time, considering how much I love to eat pizza, but I think it would be incredibly useful and probably necessary – esp. during swimsuit season.
Enjoy!
